Welcome to Crown Mushrooms.

We are Western Australia's largest locally owned mushroom farm, producing 25-30 tonnes of fresh mushrooms weekly.

We are a family owned farm, established in 1972, and now employing some 85 people.

Our modern production methods ensure maximum efficiency and quality of product is attained at all times. Insulated cropping rooms allow year round production capacity, using computer technology developed here in Western Australia, which maintains environmental conditions and ensures an optimum growing environment throughout all the stages of the mushroom's development.

Modern mechanised facilities combined with high levels of quality control during all phases of growth ensure our commitment to a continuous supply of affordable quality mushrooms for the Western Australian market is met at all times.


Mechanised tray handling facilities are automatically filled with pasteurised compost, then spawned and layered with peat moss. A large composting area produces 140 tonnes of fresh compost weekly.

Being one of the largest mushroom producers in Western Australia, Crown Mushrooms provides many of the state's leading supermarkets, fresh produce markets and restaurants with superior quality mushrooms year round.
